A museum displaying various aspects of films--right from costumes, scripts, set designs, monographs and even film magazines will come up in Mumbai, as part of the 100 year celebrations of the Indian cinema, an official said.

"The project will cost Rs 110-crore and it will be inaugurated in 2013 to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema which began with Dadasaheb Phalke's epic film 'Raja Harischandra' in 1913," Films Divisions director Kuldeep Sinha told reporters on the sidelines of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
Sinha said the webcast of the films made during the last six decades will soon be done by the division which will enable online purchases of the films and documentaries."The films division has produced over 8000 films during the last 60 years and about 5000 films will be available for online purchase and downloads," he said.
